Subject: "Kanashimi no Boat" drama "Out" on International Channel

Hi everyone,

The drama "Out," which, as reported here previously (by Tzing or Yaji, not
sure) features "Kanashimi no Boat" as its theme song, is currently being shown
on the International Channel. If you have DirecTV, digital cable, or any
access to International Channel, here's the info from their Web Site:

Fujisankei Drama "Out"
Based on the best-seller, "OUT", written by Natsuo Kirino, this TV drama depicts the seemingly normal tough grind of a group of
women against the backdrop of a heinous criminal investigation: the murder and
mutilation of a man. A murder mystery and psychological drama rolled into one,
the story illustrates the downward spiral of these women's inner lives as they
struggle with the banalities of their world. Ultimately, they are all searching
for the door that will show them a way out. There are two intersecting
storylines in the drama. One involves a woman that works the nightshift
part-time at a factory preparing boxed lunches. She and her female coworkers
provide a gentle push to the narrative as they go about their seemingly normal
lives. This story is intercut by that of a female detective investigating the
gruesome murder of a man, stepping closer and closer to the inner circle of
these women at the factory. This ingenious construct keeps the audience in
constant suspense as they try to figure out when the two stories will come
face to face. Air Times: Sunday, 10:00 p.m. Eastern"

Seiko...:-) I'm not sure what episode they're on, but it's playing behind me
while I'm typing this (7:30 California time). You'll get about 2 minutes worth
of "Boat" at the beginning of the show. Tune in next week before it's gone...

Best regards,

Mike
