Tzing,

It was also written with John Bettis...details on the Web are sketchy and / or
contradictory. On cdnow.com it comes up with "Rene Froger" as the performer. A
little more surfing showed it as being performed by Bob Gulley as well as Bill
Medley (of the Righteous Brothers..."You've Lost That Loving Feeling," etc).

BTW, Hammond  also wrote "The Air That I Breathe" ("Sometimes
all I need is the air that I breathe to love you")...probably found on more than
a few karaoke machines...Hammond and Bettis, together and separately, have also
penned hits for Barry Manilow, Glen Campbell, and have also done many popular
film soundtracks...
