Subject: Portugese version of "Missing You"?
Date: 2004/07/14 12:12:58

All,
Just wondering... has any of you tried to download/search the portuguese
version of "missing you"? The message below was taken from the Online Chat Room
posted in April.

Giba> Anata ni Aitakute portuguese version is " Te quero aqui" in "KAZAA" MP3
search please.

ps. Last sunday, Seiko did a solo acapella their National Anthem in front of
a crowd of >25K at Nagoya Baseball stadium as the opening ceremony to the
All Stars Baseball game. Crazy T although did not perform, covered the footage
for his regular weekly Major League Baseball TV program by TBS, cheering Seiko on.

This was great windfall for Seiko,...needing the right exposure and attention
in the appropriate direction for the following reasons:

1. Great exposure to the nation as National Baseball is national past-time
2. Great great media exposure, and reminder to all (incl. herself?) that Seiko
is a singer and her vocals before was described as Japan's national voice
   many times before
3. Great boost to her singing career and her coming 25th, especially after the
mediocre Japan Tour and album from a vocal viewpoint.

Thanks to Crazy T. for initiating to do the duet for his TBS show, and for the
insight to see how this could have help Seiko's career. (theme song to local
TV program, extensive coverage by TBS as a result to Seiko's activities this year,
invitation to pitch at Yokohama Stadium, invitation to sing at the All Stars, etc. )
I am eternally grateful.

Guys, if you had been disappointed by the arrangment and overdosage of cheap
electronic sounds of Sunshine, you will still be disapointed in the single.
However, for some reasons the recording sounds alot better, probably with a
different set of recording engineers or equipment or whatever. But no matter,
the ultimate ear training test is trying to shut out the chorus in all
versions, especially in the karaoke. Can someone tell me who was supposed to
be doing the duet?! Crazy T or HS?!

ps. I am still at shock how "Aitai" could have been put in the same league
as "Missing You" in terms of musical quality by Seiko herself. Perhaps she was
referring to the melody and lyrics only, and had not recording capability, the
music arrangements, and the acoustic vs electronic sounds. I cross my fingers.

pps. Do not forget to set aside money for Tokyo FM release in Aug...
a M.U.S.I.C databook on Seiko available on 8/8. It will most probably be a gem
like the Seiko Suite, and in the same league. I am buying three copies. One for
safe-keeping, one for browsing, one for a gift.
