Hi Everyone,

Well, I checked this out tonight (since I couldn't at work, even though my
cubicle at work has sort of become "Seiko Central"...four 8 x 10 color pics
from SMF adorn the walls and I play her songs on my computer's "Real Jukebox").

While most of the live clips were from "Forever Live," it doesn't seem as
if this was a "new" interview. There is much time spent discussing Seiko's
"shocking pole dance" from the "It's Style 95" video, and the clips from "Was
It The Future" are presented as if they are "new." MP3 fans will be excited
about downloading a "legal" file of "Let's Talk About It" from the site, I'm
sure...

Whenever or however they did it, it's nice to have a site in the USA
acknowledge Seiko. Other than the fan pages such as Seikology and SMF, the
only reference you'll see to Seiko is for "Sweet Evil," and it's usually just
a synopsys of the story and her name in the credits.

And some good news for Taka-san, bad news for Eric...the "Seikology" link on
their site actually points to THIS site, not Seikology. The SMF link works,
though. The SRSWowcast site is VERY odd in that, other than the form you can
fill in to become a member, there is no e-mail link to contact them directly.

Terry Murphy is well known in the US for doing the same kind of work that you
see on SRSWowcast...usually her interviews had an "angle"...like "Japanese
star Seiko Matsuda wants to make it big in America." She's basically an
entertainment reporter, with an emphasis...at least in her previous career...on
the kind of stories you see in the Japanese "tabloid" magazines.

Regards,

Mike
