Subject: A Talk Session it was as Seiko said it would be...

Hello everyone,
After looking at the headlines of the papers, which mainly circled around
either "Seiko talks about her daughter" "Seiko wants love" etc, I realized that
fans interpret yesterday's event so differently. We focus on the entire event
not one liners, we focus on what Seiko says from start to end...Below are
things that you will never get to read in the papers but were the core that
happened and felt through and through from yesterday's event. Here is "An
insider's report..."
Way before the event, Seiko said that the sole purpose to her was to have the
opportunity to get closer to her fans to speak with them. That was exactly what
she did. And looking at all the postings at all the JP Seiko HPs by numerous
fans, Seiko would have been touched if she read how moved we all were. Of
course we all go ga-ga over how good she looked, what she wore etc, but after
all of that it was still what she said, how she said it, and to whom (us, fans of course!)
According to the press, there were close to 1000 people! (no wonder I was so
squashed... it was worse than Zepp to be sure. Here is one comment by fan.
"Seiko has said to many times how lucky she feels to have her fans to stand by
her all this while, etc... I have heard that all at Zepp, at 2000 Tour, but to
have her say that in such proximity of 3m, to have her say all that in an event
such as this one that is open to public scrunity rather than in the live
concert surrounded by only her fans, is something else. To have her say all
that with so much truth in the way she said it that made the entire shop floor
so quiet and the expression on her face (becasue we were so close) I can tell
it can only be from the heart. I can never forget this day, that moment."
-This was really how it was. Throughout the entire 1 hour, there were a little
chats among non-interested people who were in the musci store as well. But when
she spoke with that mellow voice, with a pace that showed she meant everyword
she said, the pauses that went on and off as she thought carefully of what she
wanted to say and didn't want to waste the chance and opportunity to speak her
heart to her fans (fighting weak knees and tired legs from standing.. :P) ...
there was complete, I mean ABSOLUTE silence for that several minutes to the
extent that suddenly Seiko herself realized that the entire place was so deep
in her words that she apologised for "damping" the mood. No one expected this,
everyone knew Seiko was TALKING to her fans, as she said she would. We could
feel that they were things she had wanted to say and was trying hard to make
sure that we got to listen to them and understood. It was strange, but that was
how it came across to me, and after reading other postings but other fans, I
knew I wasn't alone.
Another fan,
"That sudden silence was undescrible. I can still vividly remember how each
word from Seiko herself and vocabulary she used. They resonating in the entire
shop floor as I recall her words... 'There are so many things that I would like
to tell you, but it is impossible to say it all in one phrase, at just one go.
Yet because I know that deep down you understood me well, and would thus stand
by me, I could just go on (fighting).' The expression on Seiko's face was so
sincere and serious when she said that, totally different from the chatty and
boisterous laughing Seiko just seconds before. 'I had been deeply hurt by all
the slandering many times, but I try not to let that get to me and keep
believing in myself..." This statement of hers was reflected so well in the
songs she wrote: 1992 Novelle Vague and Forever. So that was what it was all
about too. I am devastated. Seiko has always been using words
like 'painful' 'hurtful' 'difficult', but this was the first that she had
actually pin-pointed an event 'slandering'. I am taken aback. From this, I
cannot imagine all that that Seiko had to go through, something which would
have easily shut up completely a person's emotions." (Seiko later on said that
she still hopes to find love, has faith in it and will definitely announce to
her fans when it happens. THis line hit the headlines as 'Seiko wants LOVE' and
one commentor on tv today said critically 'Oh, she is just ignorant of the love
that is already around her' shezzzzz (><) ) Yet,in the midst of so much
bitterness, not once did Seiko ever speak ill of anyone. She still manages to
move on. She is definitely worth all my respect."
-I understood this fan's feeling. It was the same when I heard in Zepp (if you
are lucky enough and the report is still in the cache you can find the
translation) for the first time Seiko saying 'There were many times that I
wanted to quit.....'.
All that is left for you is to get a hand on the FUN video that I was telling
you about. Read this posting, the fan's voices and interpretation of actual
events with SEiko not through the press and see the performance by Seiko at
FUN, and listen to the new song "Anata shika mienai" (loosely translated
as "You are still the only one on my mind") and "AvaMaria 2001". You may not
tear but you will experience the SEIKO MAGIC I talked about last week.
