Subject: Gedo - Fatal Blade finally in HK
Date: 2001/09/03 01:11:03

Dear All,

Some Seiko fans and I were able to buy 'Gedo (Fatal Blade)'s
VCD in HK. We only found it in one..yes....just one VCD
shop in HK. In the past email(s) from Tsing and others back
in 2/2000, I found out that this was actually shown in Japan
in Feb. 2001.
I wonder if the VCD was actually released much earlier in HK
(say middle of 2001) and that's why there are only one shop
having this VCD available. We also wonder if it is a
pirate copy, but it is sold in a big VCD shop and
the picture quality is very good.

To refresh our fans memory, let's go back to this website:

Brief comments: the plot is too simple. Seiko's English
and performance is good. Gary Daniels' kung fu is
cool. Nakajo Kiyoshi's performance is equally great.
It's been so many years since I saw a movie by Seiko.
For just HKD35 (or less than USD5), it is a movie
that every Seiko can would like to have on their own.

Questions:-

1. Has the movie ever been released in North America?
Mike, Eric and Simon may answer this one.
2. How's the box office in Japan? Is there a VCD
or DVD release in Japan? I wonder if Tsing and Yaji
can answer this one.
3. The version I saw is spoken in English and the
movie credits at the end are all shown in English.
That's why I wonder whether this is an English
version that is also shown in American theatres.
