Hello everyone,

The music magazine "Ongakusenka" includes a long interview article of Seiko and Shinji Harada...

This interview is so good to me because it brings Seiko's music with Shinji to focus.
Apart from her fashion, life style and other private things,
Seiko has almost never mentioned her music itself in detail on recent magazines,
so Seiko there says some important messages about her recent music and the future.
In fact, why Seiko has selected Shinji as her music producer and partner...

Seiko and Shinji tell a short story in her album recording and live performance...
Producer Shinji Harada sometimes suggested or required what she had never done.
For example, playing the guitar on "This is the place" of "L&E Vol.1" and 
a high tone voice beyond her limit on "Party time, Happy time" of "L&E Vol.2".
Seiko then used to say "I can't do that!!" first, but Shinji encouraged such negative Seiko,
"You'll never get it over without the will to try to do first, YOU can do it!!"
Like that, Shinji often set her unyielding spirit on fire and Seiko managed to do well.

Seiko says that Shinji makes her feel so positive in working together,
so he is the producer who understands herself very well.

I think the following is the most important message of Seiko about her music;
 "I enough understand that they will not always accept what I want to do.
  But I insist that it's unnatural to change my music style so that they can accept it,
  because it's important for me to continue my music style that I believe to be good and
  to be accepted by them someday..."

I heard that Seiko once said she had fought alone for a long time... but now,
I think Seiko has finally got her good partner to fight against various difficulties from now...
