Dear all,
Here is a piece of good news. It again proves that Seiko is a STAR amongst all 
stars. After 21years in the showbiz, with an almost pathetic CD sales last 
year, she still tops in viewership among all the female participants in the 
Red'nWhite. In fact her performance in the Red'nWhite especially in the last 
few years had been very good. I now understand why in the 80s there were many 
times articles described Seiko as their national singer.

Surely, Seiko must realize that she still has got what it takes, that she is 
still looked upon as THE-VOICE-THE-SINGER-THE-SEIKO. There is no mistake about 
her fans knowing how good she really is. Non-fans thought her performance at 
the Red'nWhite was at worst Seiko's average performance. We, fans thought she 
was hardly 50% of what she is capable of, of what she had let us experience at FUN 2001.

Seiko, don't loose faith, don't go for anything but the best producers, 
lyricists, and arrangers.

A sad piece of news is that Seiko's ex-mother-in-law, a retired actress passed
away just minutes before Seiko's performance in the RedN'White. Seiko was told 
of the news shortly after the show, and was taken aback. Reports stated that
Seiko had to delay her visit to the hospital due to the Dinnershow schedules.
No confirmation about whether Seiko and Sayaka will attend the funeral on the
10th or not. The mother-in-law had always spoke well of Seiko to the press, 
expressed support to Seiko to be an international singer, and also mentioned to 
the press that Sayaka should do well in showbiz so long as Sayaka listened well 
to Seiko and heel Seiko's advices.


I hope to hear and see a renewed Seiko soon.
