Subject: Welcome Back, Mike from Berkeley

Mike from Berkeley,
Good to hear from you again. You guys had use totally confused.
Mike from where?? Berkeley? Santa Clara? :)

You are not alone in your sentiments.

I am not sure if a reunion with Ryo and Yuji would be a good one.
I am hoping for a variety of writers and music arrangers, and hoping for either
Matsumoto Takashi or Matsutoya@or Ohtaki Eiichi as the overall producers.
These three are known for their super-quality work, in other words slave-drivers? (ahhaha)
They know how to bring out the best in Seiko, the best in each music, and like
Richard Carpenter, would make sure that Seiko's voice is delivered, raw and untainted.
I believe that they will not be bringing Seiko back to what it is before,
in the 80s or 90s .... but will simply place the best of 2002 Seiko and match it
to their own talents in the music.

I know that Seiko wants to have listeners feel energized after listening to her
songs. However, I already have that from 1992-1999, from her live concerts.
All of which I am very grateful for, as they had been a grate source of inspiration.
I could be wrong but if Seiko wants to move on (and if I had a magic wand)
I wish it to be ballads, or sounds that will bring tear to listener's eyes
(by this I don't mean sad songs only), that will have people in the streets
stop by to find out which voice and title of the song they are hearing....
.... and am I sure that most of us fans are really hungry for that.

Welcome back! :)
