I think whoever compare Seiko with Akina based on one weekly single
sales is stupid.
Why didn't they compare the two when Seiko was constantly releasing
singles, albums and video, DVDs, having concerts, dinner shows while 
Akina was doing nothing other than doing insignificant TV shows.
Seiko has been such a big name for the last 20 years. Akina was almost
totally forgotten half of her career. 
I don't dislike Akina. I think she has her own style. But her
influence to the Japanese society and music industry is no where
close to Seiko.
