Hi Shopgirl and all,
Never fear, the 1999 SMF Birthday Card is still on SMF: The Remix, has never
left, and never will. It was such as special moment when all of my good friends
and fellow Seiko fans came together to offer their heartfelt birthday wishes to
Seiko and to thank her for what her career has meant to them.
Its link is in "Image Gallery One" on SMF: The Remix:
http://www.geocities.com/tokyo/bridge/7804/imagegallery.html
If you look at the seventh row of thumbnails, third thumbnail from the left,
you will see the thumbnail to click for the card (this is what you missed)..:-)
The direct link to the card is:
http://www.geocities.com/tokyo/bridge/7804/smbdcard001.html
Just click on the word "next" at the bottom of each page and the complete
card, exactly as sent via international mail to MS. SEIKO MATSUDA HERSELF
in 1999 (YES!) is there for your reading pleasure.
Newer fans to Takachan's site (as well as SMF) may also want to see the
special anniversary (1980-2000) print that I posted. Several of my good
friends and fellow Seiko fans (who can either identify themselves or remain
anonymous if they wish) stood up during the audience segment at one of Seiko's
year 2000 concerts and PERSONALLY HANDED HER A FRAMED COPY OF THIS PRINT:

So not only have my fellow Seiko fans seen the work I have posted on SMF...
Seiko has seen it too. What an honor...:-)
And, several years later, there is still a warm spot in my heart when I think
of this AND the birthday card. I hope you enjoy them both.
Best regards,
Mike
