Simon,

Congratulations to your son! He is a genius. Ganbatte!!!!

Thanks Malthus for telling me about Rimes, LeAnn. I have the
following information.

'How Do I Live' was sung by Rimes, LeAnn as a song from
the Con Air starring Nicolas Cage. She was born in 1982 in
Mississippi and raised in Texas. She is a country singer and
won 1996 Best New Artist Grammy Award. She recorded 6 'Top 40' Hits
(upto Dec. 1999 data). Except for 'How Do I Live' which peaked
at the No. 2 spot for 4 weeks, reached 3 times platinum and
stayed for 61 weeks in the top 40, all other five didn't make
it to the top 10. One of the 6 hits is 'Written in the Stars',
a duet with Elton John in 99.

Malthus said the original version is performed in the 80s.
ased on her year of birth, it is unlikely that she performed the song
in the 80s. If there is an original version, does anybody know
who sings it.
