Well, she is how old now?  46?  I think what you are hearing is maturity in her voice...tends to mellow out after around age 30.  Just be happy that she doesn't have an 'old lady cackle'..otherwise her career is over.  Also, can you imagine her with crooked teeth now?...Mmmm, not so nice looking; but I agree, it was very cute in her younger years.  Still, for her age, she has the best looking back I have ever seen.  She must do regular exercise!  :)
