Is it just me or you feel the same: have been watching lots of Seiko's live 
TV performance on you tube. They were 80s performance, mostly over 20
years old.  She sang very well live, almost like 
studio recording, and it was truly LIVE, not lip synching ! 
And she sang with such ease. 
These performance were over 20 years old, Seiko was in her early
20s, and had only been singing for a few years.  But her performance
was so amazing.  Her style was so light, unpretentious and she 
had so much confidence.  Her singing style has changed. She is 
now more cautious to make her song perfect, which in turn 
makes her performance less natural. Her voice was more clear,
her range wider, delivery stronger.
Is it just me or you notice that as well?
Don't get me wrong, today's singer is still way better than 
99.99%  of past and current J-pop singers. It may help if she just
relax and be a 'girl' again. All comments welcome. Come write 
something. Sad to see this Forum dying down, after so many years.
