1986

Late in 1986, a Roman numeral was adopted to indicate what year the lighter was manufactured and stamped on the right of the bottom. For example, II, III and IV indicate 1986,1987 and 1988. Alphabet from A to L on the left means what month (A=Jan. L= Dec.) the lighter was manufactured.
(The lighters made until June, 1986 were not stamped code of the month of manufacture.)
In the same period,
all inserts have the same "A" to "L" engraving as outer case to identify the month in which they were produced. |
